Jodi Ann Bickley is doing something totally amazing for people, not for people in need, but for the average Joe, like you and me who need that gentle reminder that they are loved and appreciated or just need a bit of advise, something that none of us would have the courage to do.
This book itself is a reminder to people that life may not be perfect but there is just that one little thing we do keep fighting for and you'll know what it is if, I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with this book. It's amazing how we are all connected through our experiences of grief and loss yet we forget that we are allowed to feel vulnerable and it's ok to ask for help. But you fake it till you make it and put the wheels in motion as no-one is going to do it for you; you can't wait for things to happen to you.
Life isn't for surviving, it's for living and the more we believe in people we figure out that we all need each other; everybody matters. Can't find the silver lining to your cloud? Keep looking. Love is everywhere if we just look for it.
People will constantly remind us how amazing we are because we don't listen to ourselves; our mind is more powerful than we believe and nothing is stronger in comparison to our own rejection of ourself.
The book is a reminder that kindness can go a long way if we try. The book follows Jodi as she adapts to life with a chronic illness.
